- Don't stop until the timer goes off
When you're done, take a quick break.
3. SHORT BREAK
Take a quick 5 minute break.
Avoid energy-draining or attention stealing tasks like:
- Scrolling Instagram
- Intense exercise
- Heavy eating
Instead take a restorative break, like
drinking water, getting some sun, or
eating a small snack.
4. DO ANOTHER ONE
Set another timer.
Do the exact same thing as before.
- 1 task
- 25 mins 100% focus
- 5 mins restorative break
Keep doing this until you reach
4 consecutive Pomodoros.
5. RINSE AND REPEAT
After 4 consecutive Pomodoros,
give yourself a longer break.
Make this one 30 minutes.
Take a break that revitalizes your
energy.
When you're well-rested, repeat.
